About Ella Beaubien

The story behind the voice

A closer look at Ella's work

Ella is a Nashville-based, multi-genre vocalist focusing primarily on pop and R&B. Inspired by the soulful, rich vocals of Olivia Dean and the intimate, emotional storytelling of Lizzy McAlpine, she approaches music as a way to create connection, express emotion, and help people feel less alone. Her goal is to bring other artists’ music to life through her voice, supporting their creative vision through background vocals while contributing her own musicality and feeling.

Growing up in Barrington, Illinois, Ella could almost always be found singing in a choir or on stage in a musical. This is where she discovered her passion for vocal performance, and it has been at the center of her life ever since. As a Commercial Music Vocal Performance student at Belmont University with an emphasis in Music Business, Ella has developed her artistry through vocal training, live performance, and collaborative music making. As a member of Belmont’s audition-based Company vocal ensemble, she performs with a live band, works through choreography, and contributes to productions that bring together vocalists and musicians. Outside of her university work, she sings live background vocals for fellow musicians and emerging artists in Nashville, gaining experience supporting artists’ sound and creative direction.

Ella is particularly interested in background vocals and opportunities to collaborate with artists through live performance. She believes music can offer people a sense of connection, comfort, and shared emotion. Currently based in Nashville, she is continuing to develop her vocal career, with a focus on strengthening the vocal world around artists and helping shape the sound of a live performance.
